Vocational Training Providing women and adolescent girls with basic skills can help them to seek wage employment or to be self-employed. Ashraya finances the operations of informal training centers located within the community in a school or temple or some other donated premises. Classes are held in the afternoon or evening that are convenient for school girls and women working at home. Ashraya is currently financing training centers in stitching and beautician. More recently, girls have asked for training in computers and English language. Such training is financed as scholarships that the girls can use to obtain 6-12 month training from a recognized institution. Please follow the links to view specific
